It's Hole-y D!!

Alrighty, so yesterday after our Saturday errands, Abbey asked AGAIN if she could get her ears pierced. (THANK YOU to all our family and friends who voted on our blog poll, by the way). Since Evan is a push over, we drove to the nearest mall to find our friendly neighborhood Claire's. And wouldn't you know it, the ear piercer person was IN! Without hesitation, Abbey hopped up in the chair and was given two little holes in her ears. She's officially a WOMAN now! She has taken such good care of them so far. She was definately ready! And now I will finally have some peace in the afternoon...no more "Hey, mom....Can I get my ears pierced today?" Ahhh.... :)

Happy New Year!

K, so I didn't take lots of pics of us playing games, rockin' on Rock Band, hanging out on the couch watching movies...but I did record part of the SECOND ANNUAL JOHNSON FAMILY DANCE PARTY!! Yes, that is Abbey, Amelia, Uncle Spencer, Aunt April dancing away! The rest of us were sitting at the table laughing at them. What a fun way to usher in 2008!

Chase's 13th Birthday!

It was Chase's fantasy birthday party! We rented 4 computers from our friends, Jon and Mike, (who host the Gamer parties that Evan attends occasionally). They came over, hooked them up and the kids were ready to battle! The kids had a great time, from what I hear. The girls and I took off for the day...out to lunch and to a movie. FUN TIMES! Thanks to Uncle Spencer for frosting the cake and using the goopey black stuff to write on the cake. It went well with the pizza rolls and the piles of junk food! The girls that came over really liked the Wii and the Rock Band on Xbox. Way to go Chase...involving the ladies in the fun. He likes a girl in our ward named Danielle. She and her friend stayed an hour later than everyone else. And you wouldn't believe it, but Chase took a shower before the party without our asking him....AND he wore deodorant WITH body spray!! Bring those girls over more often!! Ahhh...times are a changin' for that boy.
