Eagle Project....DONE!

Thanks to the CREW! We have an amazing ward with amazing friends! As Chase said, "We couldn't have done it without you!"

The dirt pile reduced to the last few ton of crusher fine

Chandler was very accepting of Chase's leadership...shocking! What a hard worker!

Friendship Cup-Englewood, CO

It's band competition time! Chase and the PVHS Marching Band competed at the Friendship Cup in Englewood. I wasn't planning on attending this one because it was so stinkin' early in the morning, but Chase forgot his pants! So, I rushed them down....arrived just in time! PHEW! I guess it was payback for all those times I called my mom and she dropped everything to come rescue me! Thanks Mom!

Evan charming the wedding guests....my husband has many talents!

Oh my.....yes, the cake tasted as good as it looks! Made by a talented sister of a Johnson Lady...of course!

Between Trips....

It's the Bachelorette Finale night! Since we were watching it LIVE, I was hoping that we wouldn't see anything inappropriate...a-hem.

Yes, our Bachelorette Finale night HAD to include something chocolate! Sooo...we made homemade cinnamon popcorn with chocolate drizzle...OH BABY!

Chase worked hard with his high school marching band to get their halftime show ready for football season! 12 Hour days in the hot sun...brings back memories! I was alone trying to wrangle Camron and this is the only picture I got...he looks good, huh? So grown up! Go PVHS Thunderhawks! :)

Utah Trip, Part 2

My handsome men...Camron thought he could run down the hill all by himself...seems to be a trend lately... :)
Family Reunion 2010....the Moffitt Cousins (LtoR: Kristy, Phillip, Cindy, Tami, James, Angela, Janee, Jon, Amy and Mike). We missed Lisa who just gave birth, Matt, Kevin and Jason...next year, guys!

Camron and his first "by himself" popsicle! His technique came naturally!

Meeza our horse lover! We went to "This is the Place" park for a Family Day. It was great preparation for Trek!

THIS IS THE PLACE...yes, indeed! Look at that view! I can only imagine what the pioneers felt when they came to the top of this hill! AMAZING! We heard stories of pioneers, we saw how they lived and we got to see some very OLD buildings....the coolest thing we did on our trip!

Utah Trip, Part 1

So much fun! Got to see everyone! The fun continues until we leave on Sunday! Here is a sample:

Beautiful Wyoming in July! Our drive was quick and painless...MIRACLE! Being alone with all 5 kids in the car for 8 hours/480 miles was pretty fun! (Wishing that the Stake Trek would go through a place like this.... )
Mom, Me and Camron watching fireworks in Park City! Wish I had a recording of his "oooh..." and "wat dat?"

Kristy, Me, Camron and Ang at Kangaroo Zoo...we'll go anywhere to run the energy out of those little boys!

L to R (Addyson, Andrew, Gavin, Abbey, Cohen and Camron) Cute cousins!

Camron found a cookie...He is even little compared to the super small kid table!
Sweet CamCam!

Goodbye "24"!!

Yesterday was a very sad day in our house....it was the Series Finale of 24. So, to honor the many years we have cheered, hid our eyes, given "high fives" and dropped our jaws we threw a farewell party for Jack Bauer and 24. Abbey and I made tshirts for everyone...it was their ticket to the movie room! (Evan's says "I trained Jack Bauer" on the front...haha...so like him!) Since we never see Jack eat, we figured when he did, he ate pizza, Doritos, chips and salsa, cupcakes and diet Mtn Dew! He had to keep his energy up somehow! :) The girls did a great job decorating!

As the show began, the girls went to watch their own movie. Chase disappeared about 20 minutes into it (after his candy and popcorn were gone) to call a GIRL...yes, you heard it here first folks...my son called a girl! *breathe, Tami....just breathe*

We loved that the producers left the ending of 24 wide open...bring on the movie!!

So, bye for now, Jack Bauer!

HONK!

Breece, Abbey, Sydney and Jessica
Abbey and Ms. Chengery

Aunt Cindy (who flew in JUST for Abbey's performance), Abbey, Amelia, Chandler and Mom

The Ducklings (who were hiding behind their eggs before the play started...).

Well, school is out for the summer and our crazy schedule has come to an end...for the most part. :) So, now I have time blog (while the crazy monkey baby is sleeping)!

Abbey was a duckling in her school's play, Honk!. She was so cute in her stuffed britches and little pink hat! The show was really cute and the kids did a fabulous job! Here are a few pictures of the Opening Night and after Abbey's final performance.

***We will miss our favorite music teacher, Ms. Chengery (who is moving to a new school). She was dedicated and shared her many talents with the kids.

Happy 1st Birthday, Camron!

Camron had a day of his favorite things: Playing, outside in the wagon, Daddy and his monkey (made of cake, of course)!

Camron loved his monkey cake! It looks like the monkey he has in his room so he wanted to snuggle and love it! The bottom layer is chocolate cake and the monkey is a orange cake...a hit with the kids!
CamCam also got to spend time with Daddy outside! They were fixing the sprinklers..."What's that, Dad?" Camron asked...

King of the Wagon! His favorite thing these days is to be outside riding in the wagon! The sun was out and the wind was blowing in his face!

He started his day by walking around the kitchen and playing with his favorite toys...Mom's pots, pans and utensils! Such a big boy!

HE CAN WALK!

The day before his birthday, Camron decided it was a good time to walk! The kids and I were in the family room when.....WAHOO! he started walking! He has been a fighter from the beginning!

Surprise, Surprise....

So, Abbey and her friend, Breece, planned a surprise party for their 4th Grade teacher....Thursday was the day! It went off without a hitch! Happy Birthday, Ms. Burnside!

Quarter 3 Awards Assembly

Didn't get a close-up of the D...

Congratulations to Abbey and Amelia who both earned the Effort Creates Ability Award for this quarter! They both missed the Honor Roll by just a touch...next time, girls!

Snow Day!

The girls buried Chandler in the snow! All they left was a little hole for him to breathe out of...
Chase and Neighbor Tom's Snowblower

Chandler's service for the day...digging Evan's car out from under the pile of snow!

Springtime in Colorado is an adventure! One day it is in the 70s and we've pulled out our shorts, the next day we have 8" of snow on the ground and it's freezing! Wednesday was one of those "Winter Throwback" days! The kids were outside most of the day. By lunchtime, the sun came out and it those beautiful Colorado skies shown for us again!
