Goodbye "24"!!

Yesterday was a very sad day in our house....it was the Series Finale of 24. So, to honor the many years we have cheered, hid our eyes, given "high fives" and dropped our jaws we threw a farewell party for Jack Bauer and 24. Abbey and I made tshirts for everyone...it was their ticket to the movie room! (Evan's says "I trained Jack Bauer" on the front...haha...so like him!) Since we never see Jack eat, we figured when he did, he ate pizza, Doritos, chips and salsa, cupcakes and diet Mtn Dew! He had to keep his energy up somehow! :) The girls did a great job decorating!

As the show began, the girls went to watch their own movie. Chase disappeared about 20 minutes into it (after his candy and popcorn were gone) to call a GIRL...yes, you heard it here first folks...my son called a girl! *breathe, Tami....just breathe*

We loved that the producers left the ending of 24 wide open...bring on the movie!!

So, bye for now, Jack Bauer!

HONK!

Breece, Abbey, Sydney and Jessica
Abbey and Ms. Chengery

Aunt Cindy (who flew in JUST for Abbey's performance), Abbey, Amelia, Chandler and Mom

The Ducklings (who were hiding behind their eggs before the play started...).

Well, school is out for the summer and our crazy schedule has come to an end...for the most part. :) So, now I have time blog (while the crazy monkey baby is sleeping)!

Abbey was a duckling in her school's play, Honk!. She was so cute in her stuffed britches and little pink hat! The show was really cute and the kids did a fabulous job! Here are a few pictures of the Opening Night and after Abbey's final performance.

***We will miss our favorite music teacher, Ms. Chengery (who is moving to a new school). She was dedicated and shared her many talents with the kids.

Happy 1st Birthday, Camron!

Camron had a day of his favorite things: Playing, outside in the wagon, Daddy and his monkey (made of cake, of course)!

Camron loved his monkey cake! It looks like the monkey he has in his room so he wanted to snuggle and love it! The bottom layer is chocolate cake and the monkey is a orange cake...a hit with the kids!
CamCam also got to spend time with Daddy outside! They were fixing the sprinklers..."What's that, Dad?" Camron asked...

King of the Wagon! His favorite thing these days is to be outside riding in the wagon! The sun was out and the wind was blowing in his face!

He started his day by walking around the kitchen and playing with his favorite toys...Mom's pots, pans and utensils! Such a big boy!

HE CAN WALK!

The day before his birthday, Camron decided it was a good time to walk! The kids and I were in the family room when.....WAHOO! he started walking! He has been a fighter from the beginning!
